Peoria, IL (PRWEB) June 06, 2012
Socialplex.ORG was originally designed after the creator came to the realization that he didnt know any of his neighbors. In the past, people were more connected to their community and the focus of Socialplex.ORG is designed to restore that balance. To see if this idea would work, a test environment was put in place at an apartment complex. The results of this test were astounding, as people who had lived next to each other for years finally connected through the website, which made it easy to find other people based on their hobbies and interests.
Socialplex.ORG is designed with the premise that an idea can be used to bring large cities together, forming proud communities that connect people of similar interests to each other. Beginning with Peoria, IL, and a few other test cities, the creator will begin to branch out to other cities in the surrounding areas and beyond.
The population of Peoria, IL and a few other select cities will be the first to experience Socialplex.ORG and all that it has to offer. Given that this is the first major city-wide test, people will be encouraged to give input on the design and content, with the hopes that this environment will improve and impact the community in a positive way. Peoria, IL, one of the select cities, boasts a population over 100,000 people and has a diverse ethnicity which should prove for interesting discussions and feedback on how we can improve this site and the world that we inhabit.
Bloggers, companies, clubs, etc. are welcome and encouraged to take part in the discussions and ideas that go on at Socialplex.ORG.
The first part of the website is designed as a portal, linking together the individual cities that are a part of Socialplex.ORG, while at the same time making it easy for users to access their city or to explore the other cities on the site.
